In the Spring of 2014, Key Golf reconstructed the storm and irrigation drainage system located near hole #12 at the Arroyo Golf Club.
Hole #12 at Arroyo Golf Club is a par 3 that measures 225 yards from the gold tee. This hole was designed to take storm water from the surrounding community streets in and through the golf hole. After each storm, the nuisance water would stand in the low areas of the cart path and not fully drain out in the channel. The water was unsightly and potentially damaging to the golf carts. Over the years the drain channel would fill with sediment and debris and not allow for proper flow.
The major storm drain channel was reconstructed to allow for proper flow of water to pass through. Key Golf installed drain tile for nuisance water to be removed. Landscape of the area with walk bridges, new planting and tee walk ups helped now make this one of the signature holes!
Key Golf provided project management, labor, and the equipment to establish a new drain system that works effectively and looks aesthetically pleasing for the golfer’s.
