In the Spring of 2010 Key Golf renovated the private golf school practice and teaching tee located at Las Vegas National Golf Club. Prior to the renovation the area was uneven was and not surface draining properly. The tee area was mainly used by Las Vegas National’s Golf School, and by the UNLV/PGM students for their practicing.
Key Golf provided the supervision, shaper, equipment and in-house labor to clear the turf off of the existing tee and then with use of a dozer cut and fill tee to desired grades. The tee was constructed for the upper half to be used by teaching pros giving individual lessons and the lower tee to be solely for the use of the UNLV/PGM students. The tee subgrade was laser leveled and then a 4” sand cap was installed. After finish grading, tifway 419 bermuda sod was installed and grown in.
