In the Winter of 2012, Key Golf updated the areas surrounding the hole #1 tee boxes at Rio Secco Golf Club in Henderson, Nevada.
The existing tee area for hole #1 at Rio Secco had limited access for maintenance equipment or other vehicles to get around carts waiting to tee off. To improve this, Key Golf’s crews widened the cart path area and added in a seasonal flower bed for aesthetics.
Key Golf’s in-house maintenance crews excavated the existing desert landscaping, installed a boulder retaining wall, installed annual flower beds for seasonal color and added irrigation.
Key Golf provided the equipment, labor, operators to excavate into the existing landscape slope, all materials necessary to install the boulder retaining wall, the flower planters, and the pave-stones for the area that was widened.
